it's a 5-speed automatic... I'd like to eventually buy a car with a manual transmission, but for now I'm more than happy with my Corolla.

i didn't even know they made a 5-spd tranny for that generation? I thought it was either a 3-spd/4spd auto tranny or 5-spd manual?

good call, it's actually a 4-speed (not sure why I said 5)... my Dad's is a 3-speed, and you can definitely feel the difference.

There is a guy pushing 400,000 miles on his toyota yarris. just search, he has a 100k 150k 200k 300k and 350k video i think.

but 100k miles on a 02 in 08 is nothing. your car is just broken in as long as you take good care of it.

yea I have a 3-speed Prizm (same car as a corolla), and its uber loud on the highway. Im surprised the engine can handle that many RPM's going 75-80mph constantly.
