2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4 Start Up, Engine, and Full Tour

@crystalscan2002 agreed! i like the older model looks better... but at least it has the same good old triton! i STILL have my 98 model and it still works GREAT! gotta love ford!

Check the exhaust manifolds, these were notorious for haveing broken bolts on the manifold, very expensive to fix...when the manifolds expand from heat the leak in exhaust is minimised...it happened on both expeditions i owned, a 99 and a 01. also check for loose sparkplugs they were also notorious for blowing sparkplugs....

The adjustable petals are probably the best thing ever put into a vehicle. of course nobody does that anymore :(

hi i need someones help, i have this exact expedition and when i start it, it has a ticking noise but wwhen i drive it goes away, i wanna fix this problems anyone that knows what this is please respond

My grandfather had a '97 Eddie Bauer Expedition, then we traded it in and got an '06 of the same model and edition. I don't recall us having problems with either.

I have a 1997 5.4 Expedition. it is abused and its got nearly 200.000 miles on the odo. after a 6000 mile roadtrip I drove it 21 hours straight. I am convinced this thing is bulletproof
