RC Seagull AT-6 Texan engine testing

This is a nice ARF kit by Seagull with a trim scheme I like. USMC is a rare mock up. I put a Saito 100 4 stroke in it pushing a MAS 15x7 3 blade. It's still running rich to protect things as it seats up. I'll need to reduce the idle a bit once I feel it is stable on the low end. I think it will likely be ok.

What's that aluminum part at the nose ? Ballast ? Also what engine do you use ?

Have you maiden her? Any video ?

@dreamwisperer Thanks. The aluminum part at the nose is weight I had to add to balance the plane. The manual wants a battery there to provide nose weight, but nothing larger than a 4 cell can be secured there and still get the cowl on. I run a 5 cell for a safety margin, so I had to put that behind the firewall to make room and needed this weight to make up for it. I have a Saito 100 4 stroke in it for power. I have not maidened it yet, but will do a video after I do.
