Thanks. It has put my internet download speed back to 1.2mb, no idea why it slowed down all of a sudden. Maybe when my internet speed is back to normal, it will be even faster!

This slows down your connection in windows 7 64 bit.
If you have already switched , to revert to your normal settings type:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel =normal

@blackfireclub thats not cuz of windows 7 64bit, related distance between your home and server you connect.
if its long, you get better result
