i really don't want to insult anyone, but seriously. If you take a look at the number of views and look at the number of comments that say "poor cat" it goes to show just how stupid those people are. There's many out there that are on an animal's side but its clear that the bobcat was not acting in a normal way. Something was wrong and that something was rabies. Lets not be ignorant when the facts are right there in our face. It wasn't looking for food or shelter, it was rabid. End of story.

Ummm... if you have ever been up close with a rabid animal you will know they will actually run towards humans. That was how someone I was standing with got bitten. They were actually backing away when the animal charged and bit them. Rabies causes them to become disorientated and unable to eat or drink in the final stages. The cat was not scared, it was disorientated by the rabies eating it's brain.

I live here in cottonwood. The cat was rabid, otherwise it would have gone through the garbage in back of the bar if it were hungry.
