Easter Vigil - 2008 - Virtual View

This was done prior to bring the Offertory Gifts. I decided to take advantage of this time when the choir was singing to kind of provide a virtual view of this magnificent and historic Church of St. John the Evangelist in Schenectady, NY.

This of course is at night, if I remember, I did one similar during the day on Easter Sunday.

Notice the angels most noticeable in the dome. When they were finally put back up (after years of absence) following a major restoration in the church, a former pastor, if I remember correctly, told a story of talking to the school children and asking them how many angels were in the church; one student responded with an answer that indicated the number of angels in the church was equal to the number of people in the church at the time.
