Actually, it's ISLAND RECORDS that's celebrating 50 years
Universal Records first started in 1989 as an experiment imprint of what was then MCA Records in the U.S. but was very short-lived and discontinued until 1996, when the MCA structure was switched around by the Seagram's acquisition, in which they replaced everything MCA with the name "Universal".
MCA Records, the imprint, DID continue until around 2004.

That's right..Amy has also done Your Wondering now and A message to you Rudie.
It's unusual to see a girl noways doing Ska.Amy has just had some material turned down for her new album because it is too much Reggae and they do not think it is good enough. One song she has done is called Ultimate Betrayal and is about Blake getting a girl pregnant while in rehab. She will be appearing live at the end of this month in London as part of a celebration of 50yrs of Universal Records.

tell me bout it!!!!!!!
Let's correct ourselves here.
Toots & The Maytals recorded the song originally in Jamaica for Leslie Kong on his Beverley's Records label in 1969.
When it was released in the UK, it was ALREADY popular. It was one of the biggest Reggae hits in the UK.
The Specials were a "two-tone ska", "ska rock", or indeed, second-wave ska group who covered the song and brought new life to the song, and made it famous again 10 years later.
