This is a morphing Julia Set fractal, displayed in a series of 2x1 images on a "mobius" coordinate transformation. It's meant for display on a spherical surface, specifically the NOAA's "Science on the Sphere" display.

  • Any practical applications?

  • Neat fractal the spheres look like there inverse

  • What about stack all these "sheets' of images in the set together to see what it will form(ie. Treat every image a cross section of a 3D object)
