A guide dog has been savagely attacked by a Pit Bull. The moment the vicious dog pinned the black labrador to the ground as its owner punched and kicked the animal to try to stop the attack was captured on CCTV footage.
1. For all we know, the owner could've been involved in dogfighting, or he didn't take the necessary precaution of properly socializing his dog as a young pup.
2. Like @jec933 said, pit bull haters need to do something better with their lives. Did you know that there are aggressive Golden Retrievers who bite and attack people? The dog that's often portrayed as the "perfect family dog"? ALL breeds are capable of aggression. Chow Chows, German Shepherds, Akitas, Presa Canarios..
Pit bull haters need to do something better with their lives. Unwarranted hate for a dog. You never ever get up in arms about the little and big dogs, other types that bite people on a daily basis which is complete evidence that you guys truly are dog racists. Unbelievable hate for no good reason. Pathetic. The dogs were never the problem. I hope I never meet up with some of you hateful people. I can only imagine the other things you hate for no good reason.
@MonstaUnderYerBed do you not realize the guide dog owner was most likely blind? wtf can a blind guy do in a situation like that? he probably got out of the way and called 911 on a special blind person phone or something!
It was a dumb action of the pitbull-owner, putting the leash on the ground and giving him a chance to escape, but at least he tried to get his dog off the other dog! Cant believe the other service-dog-owner just walked away and left his dog behind. If that was my dog being attacked, I wouldnt stop trying to help my dog untill he was free, alive or dead.
@MrShysterme So true. In my old job I had to frequently use a stanley knife. On many occasions I'd unwittingly find myself walking down the street with it still in my pocket. Can you imagine what would have happened to me if I'd been stopped by the police? We live in a country with some of the strictest gun/weapon control laws in the world and yet people are allowed to walk around with WEAPON dogs. Makes no sense at all.
@koalatoday Here's why you are pitifully confused. You are going off a breed standard weight range used for judging show dogs. Dogs routinely exceed these weights given diversity within the breed and they just don't make good show dogs. My mother and father own a 92 lbs male boxer. He is very large for his breed but is papered and is a boxer. You simply don't understand that ranges imply a distance within a particular probability distribution.
@MrShysterme ....... A true American Pit Bull Terrier will never be 100lbs. Point Blank. Get your head out of your ass. Yeah, there are Bully Breeds that get that big, but NOT the American Pit Bull Terrier. I don't give two shits about your nonsense. If you want to argue whether or not that dog is A Gottline Bully or Razors Edge. Then okay. But you're really trying to use your made up logic in or to prove to me that An AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER can get up to 100lbs? You're a joker.
@MrShysterme Here's your dumb ass "what kind dog is that?" It's a 10 lbs XYZ. "Oh, that can't be an XYZ because the book says they don't get bigger than 7.5 lbs" (check the percentage increases you idiot) You are obviously a fool Koala, and you confirm it when you say you have 15 friends who own/train pits.
@koalatoday Of course, we know where they come from. They descend from the bull and terrier. I was making a point though about the great amount of genetic diversity in pit bulls. It is great enough that DNA sequencing finds it hard to create a standard "fingerprint" for the breed. I'm sure you did not know that and did not realize what I was referring to. As for the rest of my post, you are a fool if you don't understand that overall you have been beaten. Of course there are 100 lbs pits.
