  • Is this a synthesizer or a mellotron?

  • @roy89321 It's a synthesizer keyboard controlling a computer program called Reason with a refill called Abbey Road which has multi-sampled mellotron sounds.

  • the Time Lords must be pleased or they would not have given you a TARDIS

  • the mellotron was the first sampling keyboard device manufactured as early as the late 1940s It allowed the player to perform music using sections of 8 inch pre recorded tape, upon these tapes were a number of various instruments, guitar oboes and the more famous flutes & Strings used by Genesis. King Crimson Yes ect this was an amazing peice of Musical History

and I can say I Have had the pleasure in performing with these fantastic Machines!
