@p1q0 No I agree Shirov is not teaching very well. He sometimes wants to tell u something, but forgets the whole point of it, and being a teacher myself, I dont understand why he doesnt prepare his ideas written on paper. He stops every 4th minute to think about something. His teaching is just not fluid and consequent. He is rather moderating is games than teaching it good.
Being a great chess player doesnt mean that u are a great teacher as well thats totally nonsense.

Kasparov's best game was that he play the garry gambit againt karpov and karpov couldn't play anny piece moves because the're was a horrible knight on d3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shirov's best game in the Sveshnikov is when Kasparov smashed him (as usual) with a brilliant exchange sac. It's nice that Shirov mentions this at the end. Unfortunately he doesn't do these DVDs well. He needs more of a plan and less rambling.
