@gobidee hard wood is better it just need more heat to burn the gas out but you get denser charcoal

You rip up pieces of napkins or newspaper, then place it inside and do the same process

You do the same process as above but, using teared up napkins. Be sure not to burn them and creat ashes, just until they are really dark you want Black though complete black

hey so i have question so once this is made "Charcoal" and after it been grinded in to fine powder. could this act as black powder if u light it on fire? or is this just a mixture ur surpose to use to make Black Powder?

no charcoal will just glow by itself.u hve to add potassium nitrate and sulfur to it
