She looks so sexy at the 44-45 second mark.

@Glenn1967ful Well then, I stand corrected. I'll have to watch it again some time. My favorite Angela Mao film is the one that kinda ripped off Lady Snowblood, I forget the title. I have it on DVD some place. I still haven't seen Stoner, the one she made with George Lazenby.

There are quite a lot of throws and locks when Angela takes on all the students at the Black Bear, but for effect powerful kicks with a kiap look better on screen. Bruce Lee's style in real life was far more economical than the film version and his kiais were made more dramatic for Hollywood as in wing chun, kiais aren't used much.

Oh yeah, he sure was a traitor. I guess he got his karmic comeuppance in this situation...never double-cross Angela Mao.
-
However, do remember that this man was also a traitor and does get killed by one of his own in the official version so either way he didn't have much luck. However, the fight is one sided and maybe this is another reason it was deleted.

After watching this, Angela's nickname should be 'No Mercy' Mao!

It's funny you said that, cause that's what I was thinking. When Angela says her lines before beating that guy to death, you can notice that she has a small sadistic glint in her eye. its like she was saying, 'Yeah, you done jacked up now buddy. Now you fittin to get yo ass kicked.'
Still a magnificent scene either way. :)

Angela Mao is awesome, but this movie didn't have much, if any, actual Hapkido in it. You'd think they'd have thrown in some throws and wrist locks rather than just the standard punches and kicks of kung fu cinema.
-
I wonder if this was deleted as it made her look sadistic. However, I am sure the person she killed is killed by one of the Black Bear instructors in the official version, I'm sure it's the scene where Angela almost kills the instructor and then the drunken looken character who is killed off in this scene is killed by a blow to the neck by the sensei
The remastered Fortune Star release has this scene in it.
