You'd be better off selling antinatalism by telling people how difficult it is to be a parent rather than ridiculing them as selfish, imo. Saying you're too pessimistic to change everyone's minds and then continuing to think you will...You should make an appeal to the selfishness of people by telling them it's easier and far less struggle and emotional worry to just get sterilized. And, jeez...i had to skip through the first 13 minutes. Your whining voice is a liability.

By gratex's terminology science is not objective.

Objectivity is impossible to achieve by its literal definition, as all knowledge is gained subjectively. Many people use the word objective to mean theory in the scientific sense (i.e. a statement of reality which is plausible given the available evidence; but can be wrong). The objective terminology is out-dated; so it's best to avoid it. We are subjective animals who tend as close to objectivity as possible using reason, but cannot attain it.

Mexican jumping beans a seed pod through which the larva of a small moth has chewed. When the bean is abruptly warmed, for instance by being held in the palm of the hand, the larva twitches and spasms, causing the characteristic hop. The larvae jump as a survival measure in order to protect themselves from heat.

When 11 in Mexico City, we saw an old indigenous woman squatting, hand outstretched to beg. She was treated as if invisible. We have since grown to hate Man.

@DerivedEnergy Wow. You can't even see the practicality of getting people to not have children by showing them how much easier their lives would be (especially economically). You say we're motivated by selfishness...all I'm saying is to sell your philosophy by appealing to it. In the long run it's way easier to not be a parent. Why not use that to promote your schtick?

Most people who suffer don't want your insulting condescension.
