  • this is what you called a classic WWII great planes dogfight simulator. I'd played this game since I was a young 12y.o. kid. And thanks to dosbox, I'm now actually able to play aces series in my computer now and find it still very interesting like before although I'm almost 30y.o. by now.... thanks sierra for the AOTP and AOE...

  • I used to love this game so much as a kid and played it a ton.

  • Im absolutely agree with your statement..... 90's is the golden era for PC games, many big title were launched those time, now, other than warcraft, company of heroes, Age Of Empire and a few, others are too "fake:", just like Red Alert 2 and 3 vs Red Alert, the graphic is just like a cartoon, so does NFS underground vs NFS!! Thats why i still like 90's games....... as too few games to be named in 00's

  • As we come to the end of the 00 decade, I am coming to the conclusion that the 90's are going to beat them hands down. I am playing my old skool games more and more as there are fewer and fewer modern PC games I am interested - not that many AAA PC games come out any more! :(

  • wow, u did!!?? thats great!! but i have the XVT and the ID Wolfenstein 3D, u might get it easily through ebay if you want, i bought most of my vintage games through ebay since there is no more stock left here (neither the gamers are playing in Malaysia), makes me maybe the only one to play in Malaysia, muahahaha!!

But talk abt old skool games, although it is obsolete in terms of graphic, sound quality, but the contents of the game, and the difficulty of the game makes it interesting ie. X-wing.

  • Cefiro, I have all those games except for "XVT. ID soft Wolfenstein 3D" so we're similar in good taste! LOL! Of course,I do have over 800 PC games in my collection as well as 335 of my C64 collection still intact in perfect working order!:)

  • yeah, that is what they called "time wont wait for us" buddy~~ but really brings back alotta memories.... Sierra series : AOTP, AOE, AOD, red baron, A10. LucasArt Star War series: X-Wing, Tie Fighter, XVT. ID soft Wolfenstein 3D, Spear Of Destiny. Westwood C&C, Red Alert, Dune series. SpaceHulk, WarCraft, too many to be listed....!!

  • Exactly the same here Cefiro - and I am over 40, cough cough!!!
