  • mines going in for some reason .are they ament to be a very tight fit??

  • @maxi9511 yes, you want it tight, because if you have any play in the headset, your whole front wheel/fork/bars will feel loose.

There is also a danger of damaging your frame further by running it like that.

  • awesome lugs on that headtube!!!

  • Hey thanks, old peugot frame, rattle can bas, paint pens to accent.

definitely homemade looking, but fun and cheap.

  • also, i used an axel and couple washers to tighten the headset...not exactly professional but it's in there pretty tight.

  • whatever works!

  • which way does the bearings go?

  • what kind of fork is that? I'm looking for a threaded fork and I was wondering what you would recommend

  • do you know what model of frame this is

  • Can I just leave the rest of the fork there and put a treadless stem

  • where can i get some of those sexy chrome forks from?

  • thanks for the vids! going to build a singlespeed up myself! its a real help!

  • I'm new to this here, so don't give me a bunch of shit. but this is what is called a threaded headset right? which means the fork needs to be threaded down much more. If the headset is threadless than the fork just needs to be cut to the right size. is that correct?
