I didn't care about focus (I even don't remember it was center or continuos mode), I kept camera and wheel by the same hand, so don't look at stabilisation and focus hunting (yeah, it's the weak point of f550, but here It hunted once wheel, once another car, once nothing).
The point of this video is that f550 has had still fine detail in shadows and bright places and it has to be brought back by gamma correction. Probably the sensor catch it well, but soft of the camera gives it too low gamma level.
Only thing I've done with this video is little increase o gamma level in VideoPad editor. In my opinion this video after gamma correction exposure of video looks as good as Hx9v ones, without detail loss.
Ergo - the only issue with f550 movies is focus hunting, exposure is able to be fixed easily.
@AhmadiPhone: I don't know anything about video cams only for vids. But if you think about videos F550exr isn't the best choice. Try Sony Hx7v or Hx9v, video of these cams is awesome :-)

@AhmadiPhone : yes, if you are able to spend some time to learn this cam. If you wanna set auto and make pics, it's not a good choice. Of course it's uncomparable with DSLRs, it's just a little compact and you must know it. If you are interested in this cam, you should visit kimletkeman.blogspot.com and read all posts about f550exr
