Operation Rescue President Cannot Explain How Health Care Bill Funds Abortion

We ran into Operation Rescue's President, Troy Newman, at the White House during the weekend of the Roe v Wade 37th anniversary. He cannot explain how the health care bill funds abortion, although he says he knows it does. At one point he almost admits that he has not read the bill.

Abortion is funded through Medicare? Does this guy know that you have to be 65 to get on Medicare? How many pregnant 65 year olds do we have in this country (or anywhere, for that matter)?

Many younger people who receive Social Security disability benefits also qualify for Medicare coverage. Abortion procedures are included in two items on the Medicare Benefits Schedule - Items 35643 and 16525.
