@Velveteddybear Well I dont know about that. I think they're equivalents. Take in mind that the Wizard of Oz's effects were very limited because of the time it was made in. That movie introduced effects into the film industry that had never even been tried yet.

@ozztastic Oops, this is a late reply to your comment, but you said you played bass on Ease On Down The Road. Just wanted to encourage you to keep on keepin' on. That's awesome.

30 years later and I'm still in love with this movie!!! I have the DVD and I'm unhappy with it because there's not too many extras on it. They could've released it as a 2- or 3-disc special collector's edition and include deleted scenes, commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage (at least 90 minutes long), interviews with the cast and crew, and a backstory of how Dorothy came to live with Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. R.I.P. Michael Jackson. We'll see you again on the other side :-)

I Love Love Love this movie.... sooo much better than the Wizard of Oz
MJ was gorgeous even in scarecrow makeup! R.I.P., sweet angel. :( So many people in this movie are no longer with us, sadly. Still a classic, though.
