08/26/2011 - I was out on a hike on Bridal Veils Falls, which I got video of that and it was a good hike. Although it is 4 miles round trip and the elevation gain is very steep a few times, the views of the Mountains and the Falls is something that you can't find roadside on US 2. You can even hear the horn echoing as you are hiking uphill on the trail. The Bridal Veils Falls is a great hike and I recommend hiking on that course. Anyways, on my way back home, I was able to catch at least 1 train during my trip back.
0:32 - BNSF Westbound Z-CHCSSE-01-26 Stack Train
08/28/2011 - I decided to spend a proper morning on a proper railfanning with my friend Trevor and we got some good catches under the mixture of fog and sun.

6:05 - Amtrak Empire Builder Train #7 (P42DC 83 and 150)

@Nachtwolf1 Thanks. I was considering to continue further to Lake Serene, but with the extra 2 miles and the steepness of the trail, I wasn't ready to tackle that course already. I'll probably take that course the next time I visit.

Have you ever hiked the rest of the way up that trail to Lake Serene? It's very steep, but totally worth it. It's where that waterfall comes from. Great rail catches as well!
