@GladILeft Thanks Gladman. I have lots of prayers going for me and God has been so good to me and Susan through this whole ordeal and it's only just begun! We praise His name for His goodness and we thank all of you guys for your prayers.

@GrandpaJim777 Dear Jim, I hope and pray that you heal and are fully made whole. I never understood how a senior (I'm not calling you a senior, I hope you know what I mean) breaking a hip or some bone could almost do them in. We just don't know until we walk a mile in a similar shoe. You rest and take it easy and do the not fun physical therapy, Keep us posted how your recovery is going. Hugs!

@imperceptibleme What an ordeal you went through, Melissa! No matter how I might feel sorry for myself; once in a while, there has or is someone who had it way worse than me. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes.

Wow, that sucks. The guy I get work from had a ladder issue and broke his leg. I think his issues from it are closing in on two years. I think his is because of infection. I hope you have better luck healing.

Stay off ladders, hire that out to young people who heal faster.

4 months! After I got out of the wheelchair I used my walker for a couple of months and then moved on to a cane. Don't rush yourself in getting better. Mind Susan and the Doctors! haha. It may take a while to get back to how it was before the accident. Truthfully I never have. I don't do half the things I used to do. I feel blessed to have my foot. After I healed the surgeon told me that he prayed for my ankle. It still stays swollen and hurts me. But I can walk! Hugs Dear Jim!!

Goodness Gracious Jim! I hate that you've hurt yourself and had to have the surgery. I feel your pain. 3 months after I turned 50 I fell down my entire stair case and broke 2 ribs and my ankle on both sides. After surgery both incisions got infected and they laid open the wounds and it was all slow healing process with massive antibiotics and well you know. It totally changed my life. If not for my dear sister I don't know what would have happened. I was in a wheel chair for about......
