i have a rustler xl-5 and crashed it on the wrong angle and ended up snapping part of the bulkhead in half, bending one of the little bolt things in the suspension arms and bending one of my shocks.

@RCNinjaWok Tried that too, about 28 MPH on a GPS. Traxxas is really good at exagerating top speed on their kits. Traxxas also says tmaxx will do 40+ MPH, according to the GPS its more like 34MPH in second gear on a lean racing tune.

@Dryerghostrider 3000mAh lasts about 20mins with full throttle alot but a speed charger takes about 45mins to charge. crapy wall charger takes like 4hours 45mins

a stock XL-5 rustler will NOT go 35MPH on a 6 cell battery more like 17-18MPH. and on a 7 cell it will only go 22-24MPH!!! NOT 35!!!! I know because i have one too.

@whitestreefrogsrock yes i feel ya, i've had multiple crashes where it would just stop working, and also the slipper clutch is a fucken pain, and the gear thing on the wheel is fucken gay too! but now i have revo 3.3 and t-maxx 2.5 which are great!
