I think you ate instant Pho. In VN, we use fresh Pho, it's much softer and it has bright white. And it seems to be lack of Ngo Gai, which is better when eating Pho. Enjoy!!!!

I just can't wait to someone to show me where to get the best of pho. so far, I have to go back to the original, viet nam to get the best of it. but if you are a picky one you need to have a good guidance to have one. good luck in searching for the best. please let us know if you know one.

It looks like some of you get beaten some where on the heads when heard that "Uncle Pho" was a chinese
Yeap, his early version of pho includes all of rotten bones with magots crawling everyhwere, that the reason he added cinnamon and star anise to cover the awful smell

I wish it were imported to the US - I would love to taste it (I guess that I'll have to take a trip to Vietnam; I would just to try great hot sauce.)
