I believe that Warhol took off more due to the fact that he was very realistic in his art, while a lot of James Gill's artwork blended into the previous couple decades of abstract work

Gill will be exhibiting his works at Angelo State October 7 - November 6. He will give a public talk on October 9 from 7-9pm in the Eldon Black Hall, on the ASU campus.
