Wrong switch..That switch will keep the pump going if it stays in the on position.I do believe my last boat had a switch that did not click into the up or down position and stay there.It would come back to the center position on it's own.Now I did not install it and it may have been wrong or maybe they changed it to this type of switch.But mine was not like that..I know this is an old post and correct me if i'm wrong but I thought I should post it for someone else that may have a similar prob.
