@da959 The "SHEEPLE" should Wikipedia "energy density." Scroll down to gasoline, then (way, way down) to li-ion batteries. The fact that gasoline has 65.55 times more energy per pound than the best batteries just may be a factor in the slow development of a practical and AFFORDABLE electric car. While were at it, ALL patents are public and usually expire after 20 years, so the 50+yr old myths that oil companies patented super efficient car parts to keep them secret and unused is BS.

Gee Wally! Did you know that a car can be made that satisfies 90% of the needs of people in America that runs on nothing but batteries and can be re-charged(for pennies)every night for the next day ahead???
