This is a Reverse Elevator sweep that you have available directly after you have done the Arm Drag from butterfly guard to try and take your opponent's back. If for whatever reason you can't get to the back, this is a way for you to sweep him over and take side control.

  • I agree with everyone's sentiments thus far. The most important thing I look for in an instructor is quality and attention to technique. TechniquePrevails is one of the best channels on youtube, and the TrainFightWin site has good material. and I've learned a lot--to my sparring partners' chagrin ;).

  • @AmbicionEterna I really appreciate your thoughts and sentiments. Thank you!

  • Awesome- that's great. If it's working for you, stick with it. This just adds a little something to the chain sequence to add to the arsenal.

  • Excellent move, but i find that as long as i do the arm drag setup right, i can always take the back, even on bigger guys.
