  • Hey IVideosongs, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the helpful and clear lessons. Also, I was wondering what you would suggest to ear guitar player that just finished highschool and wants to go onto a higher learning of music. Did you get a major in music and what school did you go to? What major would you suggest taking in music? I was thinking majoring in music engineering or production and minoring in music performance

  • @SongHooks1993 There are dozens of programs in all kinds of colleges. Our people have all kinds of backgrounds -- english, engineering, no school, you name it. We just can't give you a simple answer. Can you visit a couple campuses locally, ask them to talk you through their catalogs and what graduates do? Other schools are Berklee, Boston Conservatory, or Full Sail in Orlando for production and engineering. You have so many choices, so much research...and we're oh so jealous! Enjoy it!

  • HELPFUL!!! FIRST!!!!!!! ME FIRST!!!

  • Thanks for the comment. Do you have a question we can help you with? Wasn't sure from your comment.

  • Yes, i was wondering if these are the only guitar patterns, like fingerings, avaliable?

  • Got the response. Sorry for the delay. Answer is thar we have many scale patterns in the Beginner 101 playlist. Imagine you've gone thru many of these videos, but you mayu want to check them out again with that focus.

  • I can understand how to use the pentatonic scale when playing. How is learing these scales going to be applied? I guess I'm wondering how to implement the new scale. Are the bending points like in the pentatonic scale. Are there any other application videos you know of that will help me get a feel for using each pattern, possibly even how to tie them together. thanks

  • @SongHooks1993 full sail has a sister school called Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood that was $30k cheaper. and that was 4 years ago wheh i was looking into them. i know the amount has to be even more of a difference now since full sail is now 20-30k more expensive then it was then.
