  • hey, guys im sorry but it is not right cepelinai :) it is simpler than you are making .

  • We seem to be getting a lot of criticism of this but I havent found a video of it being made 'properly' or details of what we have done that is wrong. A video reply would be most welcome!

  • Don't pay attention to these silly criticisms, the way you made them is a slight variation of ussual ones, but still it's deffinitelly a cepelinai ;)

The way "marilike" said is an easy and much faster way to make cepelinai, but they're not "real".

The way you made dough is the "correct" traditional way , just with some mistakes.

For stuffing you should use just raw meat.

But anyway I pay you respect for not taking the easyest way, and even withouth having the grinding machine, that's owesome!;)

  • Thanks a lot for this comment. I'm most comforted by it!

  • Sure, no problem;) I love coocking and I have made cepelnai and other traditional lithuanian dishes since I could raise a spoon. So next time you make something like that and want it more traditional like, just write me and I'm sure I could guide you, and then nobody for sure would say anything like they do now ;)

    Cheers!

  • @kriusha Will do. Next time my friend Maryte stops at UK (on her way back to Lithuania) we will do this again & ask you before hand. Cheers :)

  • You see, we have special grater for potatoes here in Lithuania and nobody uses bacon, but the final product looks about the same.

  • Kad jus verkiat ,kad blogai daro , tai idekit savo video ir parodykit kaip jusu manymu turetu butu gaminami cepelinai....
