Hell, everyone talks about the Graphics. They are amazing, but the gameplay is what makes it special. Anyone can make a game that looks like Crysis (Today, of course) and make it linear and boring. But it's hard to make a game look good, open world, and interactive with great AI (The AI is a bit justified, some thinks it's good, some think it's bad).
And if you don't like something (i.e. Graphics, Better AI, Weapons) there is usually a MOD for it, and a huge community behind it all.

@MrQi19 I beat it on the highest difficultly in 10 hours.....and the game is terrible dude. Especially when compared to fps games nowadays. And ya being a 27 year old male with 4 children makes me a kid. Don't get mad just cause someone has a different opinion then yours. RAGE was a ok game. But it got boring in about 45 mins and got repetitive. If i wanted to play a generic shooter and run and gun threw a game. Id transport myself to the 90's and play doom like i did 18 years ago.
