I know MIB is supposed to be bad and Jacob is supposed to be good, but neither of them really seems just good or bad. They're both kind of evil in their own way and I feel more for MIB than anyone else. His mom was beat to death by a psychopath right after his birth and the only thing that was wrong with him was that he was intelligent enough to question things. All he wanted was to get off the island, which he would have been allowed to do if Jacob hadn't turned him into the smoke monster.
