Jealous Sun Conure and Indian Ring Neck

My sun conure (Frankie) gets jealous when I give attention to either of my indian ring neck parrots - partly because Frankie feels that I'm encroaching on his territory, partly because he wants the attention himself.

NB: the yellow indian ring neck (PJ) is saying some words in this, including 'tickle', 'kiss', 'boos' (which means kiss in persian).

@gileeto1 The IRN is probably a little bigger than the conure, but not by much. When the conure puffs up and sits really tall they're pretty much the same

very cute video. my sun conure does the same thing. he wont let me pet his back. It also took me like a year to get hime out of his cage without him attacking me. i wish he would let me pet his back :) can't wait to see another video.

@freddym135 Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Our sun just started to get quite affectionate, opening up his wing for a scratch and on his head. I'm going to post another video of him letting me do this in the next day or so. :) Thanks for the comment!

I have a sunny lol but it took me like a yr to get him to trust me enough to pet hit back but i think thats cause i bought him when he was a lil bit older like 2ish

@LatwhipAss Haha, our Sun won't let us pet his back normally, but he still wants attention. He likes me patting his beak and occasionally rubbing his belly, or kissing his back. But if I try touch his back with my fingers he gets all agitated with me.
