Some pics from our recent trip to see Stone Henge & Avebury Stone Circle this weekend just gone Nov 1st to Nov 3rd...also included are some pics of the hotels we stayed in & a few shots of the country side taken from the car window as we drove home...the weather was pretty awful for the whole time but that seemed to add to the atmosphere at these sacred sites...in some pictures it looks as though there are orbs in the pictures however i think on this occasion they are only water droplets as it was raining quite hard when these pics were taken ;)

Great Pic, looking at the date on them I was on both sites only a couple of weeks after you guys. The family and I were lucky enough to see Avebury in the sunshine and Stonehenge the day after at -5c temp, bloody cold but dry.
I found it very hard to explain the broad emotions felt just being in such a fantastic and sacred place. Cant wait to go back in 2011....

My Fav was probably climbing Glastonbury Tor.

Hey Pete, great pics! Rain or not, there were some awesome orbs in a few of those shots!

Yea i though those were orbs at first but in turned out they were just water droplets on the camera lense...they do just like orbs though don't they!
Was a great day & the weather seemed 2 fit the stones very well.
