  • I no longer call myself a Christian, precisely because of the hypocrisy I witnessed, first hand. I AM one of the least of these. It does my heart good to see compassionate people taking back Christianity, not allowing brutes to usurp the name. But I will not call myself Christian. The damage is too deep.

Oh yes he was. The bible may be loaded with bullshit such as original sin and the idea earth is 6000 years old, but one of the things it got right is that we're supposed to be nice to one another for the sake of being nice, which is what Jesus explained quite thruoughly in his teachings. The golden rule he lived by was aroud before his time but the rule was law for him. "do unto others as they unto you". That means treat others how you wish to be treated.

  • @chucknchar And how about answering the question: IF you believe that religion is "wasted on the stupid," why waste time arguing about it with anyone? The answer is obvious: you are attempting to twist Scripture and utilize it to further the evil socialist agenda. IT WON'T WORK. Too many people are onto that jive. Keep working for Satan all you want, but we all know how the story ends. Maybe you should have read ahead, junior.

  • @chucknchar If you TRULY believe that Jesus was a socialist, then you have mental issues that even the foremost experts in the field couldn't solve. But then, liberalism IS a mental disorder...

  • @chucknchar You can whine and cry and lie and spin all you want. I'm right... you're wrong. I win... you lose. You are the only one in this exchange who has professed to know what Jesus was all about... which is odd, considering that A) you've never met him and B) you state that the religion he represents is "for the stupid." Could you POSSIBLY be a bigger hypocrite? I don't know... but I'm sure you're going to answer that question in due course.

  • @robn8r72 You are the personification of what wrong with religion, you just make it up in your self rightous mind as you go. Look around, there are millions like you and therefore religion is about as good as the paper its printed on. I respect the prophet Jesus because his message matches Liberal agenda and the common good, Jesus was a socialist and He would support Liberal social issues because they are right. You are as phony and self rightous as the Pharisees

  • @chucknchar Now, if you ever learn to debate like an adult, let me know and we'll pick this up at that time. I won't hold my breath, though...

  • @chucknchar The issue here is the perversion of Scripture in the name of "social justice." You have not been able to defend your support of it using fact and logic, so you have attempted to use me as a red-herring... and you have failed miserably at that, as well. Anyone who was truly intellectually honest would accept defeat and move on. You, however, have chosen to continue to show your ignorance/stupidity. If that's really your bag, have at it.

What part of "I win" do you not understand?

  • @robn8r72 You are the issue Rob because if fail to understand you own belieifs and Jesus's teachings, like the Pharisee's in the temple, I at least understood these in the fifth grade and then realized how limiting Christianity is and simplistic, I have no need for a Supreme being nor claim to understand His existance or the need for His existance. He is and too complex to be understood or explained by your definitions. But I have moved on and am a better man for having learned Jesus's message

  • @robn8r72 Well, you are the issue Rob, the religion of christianity that we were rised on is just one of many and it just happened to be handed down to us only you excepted it without examination, I chose to leave childish things behind. I do believe there are many sincere people in the faith and the prophet Jesus was wise in his teachings but I don't take the Bible to be anything more than just another self help book and religous interpettion by zealots of the day who claimed to speak for God
