If bone marrow stem cells can do make insulin at these concentrations, imagine how good cord blood stem cells would be at this !!

well maybe they will be able to use mobilized peripheral blood stem cells so that you dont need bone marrow aspiration from the bone.

What a great thing to get off that darn needle...only thing I don't like is the bone marrow sucked from my bones....it does kinda hurt.

As a type 2 diabetic I think it's time for the British Government to encourage this kind of research. As the bone marrow stem cells are extracted from the patients own body, I see no moral issues involved.
