Metal detecting at an old home site was a great day

Metal detecting with my brother and our kids. We also dug alot of junk ,but we cleared the area because of some of the finds from the previous week. Previous week finds 1882 morgan dollor,1902 barber quarter, 2 large cents,mercury dime,v nickle. Junk was over 200 bullet shells 10+ pop and beer cans. old bumper jack. still was alot of fun.

@stilldigin101 We use google maps, bring up google maps and bring up your adress then pan out look for parks in your area.then click on some of the houses around the park . Now go to your local township assesment website punch in the house adress and most of the time it will list the value and year the home was built and give you a fair idea how old the park and alot of the homes around it have been there.The place we are at in the vid is in a park the township extended around a few old homes.

What a great hunt! You have a nice family too. They are so excited. It's nice to see all those dirty fingernails! Tremendous finds to boot! My two boys used to hunt with me until they found video games. Now I have lost them. Keep up the good work.
