you should never put a tank that close to a window. it will cause excess algae and temperature fluctuations.

@greenbean477 Generally speaking that can be right, but it is not always the case. This tank installation is now many years old and we have had none of the problems that most people think will occur. Those "rules" should be on a case to case basis.

@hamooche Agreed, natural is better although I have seen some very pretty tanks with colored gravels too.

whats the point of blue gravel if your going to make everything else look natural? nice tank other than that

@jarederajarederaj The blue gravel is what my customer and her kids wanted, so that is what I installed for them. When I do your tank, I'll do whatever color you choose....except neon colors!
