The survey of world history is well done, but one would think until seeing Part 8 that this is an agnostic's view of civilization and religion. It's also not clear if the speaker is pro- or contra-church.

Does it matter whether I support church or not? The point is to get people to think about things... not to convince them that one way of thinking is better than another.

Just because people don't understand something doesn't mean it isn't real. The point is that what you have been told about "GOD" by the church is fake... that doesn't mean there is nothing else. Way more to God than you can imagine... including "Science".

I agree with all of these videos.

However, none of these clips answered the one and most single question of all: "Who created our ancestors?". If someone answers with "their ancestors", and those ancestors with ancestors and always ancestors I can conclude that we always existed as humans, thus, no beginning. But everything have a beginning!. In Perú there's this tribe that claims a very stupid tale: "La Pacha Mama", meaning; Mother Earth created all living things.

You lost me on parts 8 and 9. The video is good in that there's finally a new idea of god that is directed more at oneself, which is ultimatly where we need to be. The only way to abolish the idea of god is to chip away at it (in a honey attracts bees kinda way) and I feel like this video is something that religious people could watch and begin to actually think (however small it may be) towards a world without god.

If you're a hardline atheist, then the narrator soothes your worries and only uses the word "God" in the most generalized way possible, like some kind of force or a feeling you get in your heart. Hey, we all get feelings and we should always trust our hearts, whatever they tell us? What kind of bullshit is this guy peddling?

Keep it up and you'll be a perfect guest on the Oprah Winfrey show in the future, along with all the other new age hacks struggling to make a buck. Yawn.

Some of the most condescending phoniness I've ever heard. Perfect for our new age, postmodern, relativist time. The narrator sounds like the most conceded prick on the planet, talking down at the "people" as if we were 10 years old.

Notice how inoffensive and politically correct this corny message is.

If you're a religious hardliner, the narrator spends all this time dissing religion's past but still pats you on the head and uses "God" talk to sooth your worries.

the series can talk about things like energy.. universal energy conects us all...

and maybe it talks about a surce with all thing come from or at least ur souls...

As an atheist... if you replace god with synchronicity, you wind up with what most atheists have been espousing all along... I love the messages in these videos, and think most of the ideas are true... I just think we can lose god and still come to the same conclusion...
