Oh yes, O'Driscoll is outstanding- an even better centre than Mike Gibson, which is saying a helluva lot, since Gibson was one of the greatest players ever. I'd still pick Gareth Edwards as my #1, but O'Driscoll is right up with the elite. Ireland really should have won more slams and championships

@mizofan oh yeah i hear yeah :) its just o driscoll is my favourate player and when i hear people calling him old i get upset sorry. I just think that o driscoll is the greatest player ever, its a bold statement i knoe but omg what a player especially when he won the grand slam i was just so happy for him :) but he is just unreal and sound:)

@reyjay07 Yeah i know he still plays, it's just that my own lifetime selection is mainly (but not only) golden oldies/previous players
-
@mizofan o driscoll still plays, hes playing in the final of the heinecken cup on the 21st :)

@MrRH690 ah now in fairness jack kyle was deadly but o driscoll is better

Good to see big Dean Richards mug in the Peter Winterbottom clip 3:27. Floored and at a standstill.....much like his coaching career.

@deejay2k10 Jack Kyle is one of the absolute best of all time. My granddad was friends with him for many years. Ireland's best ever and a quite remarkable man off the field also. Wish I got to see him play live...

jack kyle is my friends grand dad

Excellent! Good to see some older legends. Did i miss Phil Bennett and Richard Hill in your selection? My lifetime XV: Price, Wood, Cotton, Johnson, McBride, Hill, Slattery, M.Davies, Edwards, John, Irvine, Gibson, O'Driscoll, G.Davies, JPR Williams.

Sad to see no Cornish represented there.. Stack Stevens? unsung hero one of the very first props to use speed across the ground, to compensate for his lack of size ahaed of his time as now all front rows have to be quick.
