  • my 2001 subaru legacy alternator tenstioner keeps coming off causing the belt to keep loos and the alternator keeps moving

  • Awesome video. thanks for walking though the water pump replace/dont replace debate. I'm about to put a timing belt on my forester and this info is great. the dealership wanted 800 bucks to replace it.

  • thanks for the info.

  • this is an amazing video...i have a 95 subaru that i was thinking of changing the harmonic balancer myself but i didnt have that wrench so i will taking it to the mechanic. The mechanic told me to replace the crank pulley because right now its wobbling when idling. I will just have him do it. 1st mechanical problem in 3 years. Timing belt change in about another 10K. THANKS!!

  • its very true about the crank shaft pully, harmaonic balancer bolt, bought my subie off a guy who didnt do it tight enough and the key was stripped inside the engine, a big mess, pully pretty much fell off :)
