@yugfhdfvhydhudsfefbb It was never about winning the world cup for australia, it was about getting as far as we could, and then to scare italy so much they had to resort to cheating to win against us shows why we could of gone further in the competition.

I don't think it's fair to say Totti dived, and even if he did it was at best a clumsy effort by Neill, most strikers would take the dive. Still breaks my heart to this day but this World Cup is up there with the greatest sporting moments of Australia's history IMO

I still get chills watching the aloisi penalty, without a doubt the BEST moment in Australian sports history, just look at the crowd. I didn't like football up until then, but after that game and the world cup I am a huge football fan. Go socceroos
