Watch in HD.
This demo -- from Pattie Maes' lab at MIT, spearheaded by Pranav Mistry -- was the buzz of TED. It's a wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine "Minority Report" and then some.

  • This simply makes use of your cellphone's mobile intenet with some well written software. You're not anymore connected to the world with this device than you were with your cellphone . . .

  • The only useful item in the whole video was the automatic search feature for buying toilet paper.

Someone explain to me why that can't be implemented on a simple camera phone?

The projected image thing is flashy but impractical. It's the Apple Newton.

  • We must use this technology for good.....we must start with taking down the killers!!!!!~!~
