Riverside County, Feb. 24, 2009, 2/11, Supervisors debate Ordinance 884

At the Feb. 24, 2009 meeting of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, Ordinance 884 "regulating targeted residential protests" was debated and adopted by a 4-1 vote. Supervisors Stone, Tavaglione, Wilson, and Ashley voted in favor, Supervisor Buster dissented.

The international headquarters of the Church of Scientology are located at a compound called "Golden Era Productions", aka "Gold Base", in Gilman Hot Springs near Hemet, in Supervisor Jeff Stone's district.

Does it matter? Graham Berry was told to cease talking about key points by three members of the board. That speaks to me that at least those three and probably more members have been bought by scientologist interests. If the law is unconstitutional then what it will take is an arrest of a peaceful violator to challenge it before a higher court and have it struck down at a higher level than this board has authority to override.
