Isn't there a specific way to configure the fingers? Us Roman Catholics aren't picky, but if I ever attend an Eastern divine liturgy I'd like to look like less of an awkward Occidental.

@trilobright Yes, you should hold your thumb and first two fingers together for the Holy Trinity, and place your pinky and ring fingers against the palm of your hand to signify the incarnation..

@TheRougeHawksClan The two fingers against the palm signify the two natures of Christ-- both divine and human. The three fingers joined together signify the three persons of the Trinity.

@apotheounSTK im catholic melkite and we are Eastern Catholics with commounoin with rome but have mostly Byzantine customs/Orthodoxy like the decoration of the church, robes of the priest and the way we do the sign of the cross(right then left)
