  • @FM18NACIONSANTA do u live in this one that burned

  • Thanks for the comments catman.... I guess even though equipment is old, as long as it is maintained properly things will go a long way... Our problem is finances. As a career department, its sad to say politics fall into public safety. They have cut us so much fighting a fire is becoming almost impossible, We ride with 2 guys on an Engine ,Truck, and Rescue. Our 2 rescues we had are down to one and that one has been out cause they dont have money to fix it. Same with our 2 trucks. Only 1 works

  • Thanks PopppaBlue59!!!!!!! Always good to hear positive.... we dont get that much anymore!!!

  • Nice comment PFD330 I am sure our guys appreciate that

  • So Skankpronger.... One man operation to do a search of exposed apartments, 1 guy to establish water supply, pump , and operate master stream devices... Or One guy to stop fire spread to adjoining building.... come on bro..... You must a vol in a town with no training.....

  • that thing was really going hard before they got there . They had both trucks up and running within minutes. By the way... We only ride with 2 guys on an engine, truck and rescue... It is almost impossible to do our jobs properly with no man power. VERY DANGEROUS!!!

  • Hi being from the UK I have no knowledge of your building regulations but it does seem to me all of 4000 miles away that there dont seem to be many firewalls built into the buildings. Apologies if I am wrong but it would be nice to know. 99% of the time the Brothers do a great job. Good luck and God Bless you all.

  • I know what its like to run 2 on a rig and City council still expects the same job. Good work boys!!

  • wow, thats amazing. for a whole apartment bldg to be that involved is absolutely surreal. was anybody injured in this blaze?

  • i dnt understand why they didnt call my district for mutual aid were right near there

  • my aparments hooo i remember all

  • LOL someone didn't charge their pager. and I love the driver of the engine funny

  • @EFD205 politics killed the fire service.

  • Good Job by all involved. There was a similar fire in my former home town. The city and the county fd's are all volunteer...that night they had all the county and city units on scene...from the newest pumper to an old 53(?) Chevy pumper...and it was doing it's job just like the newer rigs. Needless to say, they kept all their equipment in excellent working condition...just in case. This night was the "in case". Best I can recall,it happened in '78. They did a good job as well.

  • How long was that burning before someone saw it?? Looked like a quick knockdown, nice work.
