The 2009 IndyCar championship saw a triangular shootout go right down to the wire at Homestead. Ryan Briscoe was the first man to win in the year although Dario Franchitti stole the title from team-mate Scot Dixon in the last knockings. There were also plenty of crashes, stunning overtaking manoeuvres, thrills and spills along the way in what has been a truly epic season.
