when i go to timeline to adjust the length of the clip. it is too small and cant get an accurate drag. How do i make it so i can cut it shorter?

You can either trim the clip but that gets rid of some film helpful if need. Also Make sure to cut the clip between two points and click zoom in and zoom out. I'm pretty sure that'll help alot I've done it at times lol.
