Seeing as how we are a nation of immigrants, I fail to see how "most" of us are "proud citizens of the U.S.A". You make it sound like most of us are overly patriotic. How do you know that's not a stereotype? Stop generalizing about groups of people. Trust me, many Americans understand and dislike racism and discrimination.
Maybe if you visit you'd like our country.

9/11 was bad (duh) but people die all the time. I can understand the scaring it did to people back then, but when the U.S. "celebrates" September 11th each year to "remember" those who died, they're just doing it to add drama to their boring lives and give them a feeling of horror, excitement and nostalgia. Fact is, it isn't worth the hype it's getting. People need to get over nine eleven. People die everyday, now shut the hell up.

You are a FUCKING TOOL , this event increased racism and hatred for muslims . dont you get it ? What a moron .

@boutelouxfabien What i think is, people like to over simplify things that just can not be simplified and has a broad spectrum... basically the mentality is "if you are not with me , you are against me"

@shariar1995 I'm citizen of a european country where there is an important muslim community and from my point of view which i guess is objective, I think you're trying to justify yourself whereas you shouldn't. Most of American people only thinks in white and black, good or bad and for most of them, proud citizens of the great USA, they blame people like muslims just because they can't get that the people responsible of 9/11 aren't muslims but extremists religious just like KKK.

The comments I've seen on here are reasons all of our governments are screwing us. We are all blaming each other and that's just what they want that way we r not asking important questions. Just a bunch of puppets. No country is innocent. Sorry to burst your bubble. Thank our govt

Sounds like the usual bunch of self-indulgent, self-obsessed excuses to me. It you want 'fear' then I suggest 9/11 was actually pretty mild as far as events go, it really doesn't compare to what many people in other countries have to go through, events like genocide in Rwanda where nearly a million people were murdered in 100 days.

@Mackanmanga where did you copy&paste that? i keep seeing people say that -.-
i mean seriously, why say RIP? we should be happy for the people who didnt die because we got rid of the taliban in iraq and afganistan. like seriously, civilian casualty is the byproduct of all war. you might as well be arguing that we shouldnt have gone to war when pearl harbor got bombed, "who cares about the holocaust? BRING OUT TROOPS HOME!"
