Ethanol is a great fuel. The starch part of the corn is used in making the ethanol. The rest of the corn is still used for animal feed. More animal feed is available now than ever before.

Quit playing with your hair and making faces. Also, take note of your excessive usage of the word "like". You will get your point across better (whether it makes any sense or not) if your audience is not distracted by these little disturbances. Also, consider using a script or an outline because you seem to get lost in your own dialog.

With your logic then there should be less debt due to the farmers "dropping out of subsidies". Do you know what happens to the corn they produce that the farmers produce that are bought by the govt. ? Were you just born yesterday? Did you know that millions of tons of corn and grain are destroyed every year that go to no use, bought by the govt.?

Ethanol from corn becomes competitive with gasoline from petroleum, without subsidy, when the price of oil goes above some particular value.
If the supply of petroleum fails to keep up with demand, the free market decides which is more important: fueling the cars of wealthy people, or feeding the exponentiating hordes of poor people.
Food is fuel and fuel is food. We use fossil fuels to grow food, and we convert food into biofuel. The food and fuel markets are tied together now.

USA built cars for many years which consumption is very high rated to keep the gas market working and now you have a big problem which is "THE CONSUMPTION". Obviously I think that corn is certainly not the solution ==> It will kill the third world indeed. Here in Europe we use diesel engine every day more because their consumption is very low and the average is 60 MPG or more!! even the SUV!! the ethanol is take out of oranges! bye.XXX
