=== SYNOPSIS ===
Set in the mid-1980s, "DIRTY MAGAZINES" is a heartfelt, quirky, coming-of-age comedy about how a mother/son relationship (and overall family dynamic) changes after the mother finds adult, all-male magazines underneath her son's bed on the morning of his 16th birthday! What plays out is a series of hysterical, yet earnest, tests of sexual preference to figure out what this "really" means. The tone is playful, absurd -- if not a bit left-of-center -- with poignant moments. Honest enough for the gays guys and gals, yet entertaining enough for the straight folks ... "Dirty Magazines" attacks universal human themes of family love, dysfunction and acceptance at its core. ****************

I wish I could have been there as I worked with a fellow French filmmaker to translate it properly. Your comment says that we did it right :-) The film is on sale with launch parties to look for in March 2010.

Pardon my 6-month delay in responding to this music request. I had to work out licensing and get the legalities in order. The song is called INTO THE NIGHT by the band EX-MEMBERS. You can find the song on iTunes and other pay sites. Yes, LOVED IT my 1st listen as well!

There is certainly potential for a soundrack down the road as the audience evolves and builds for "Dirty Magazines." Big distribution news coming within the week! thanks for your positive feedback!

saw this movie just a few hours ago in cologne, germany at a festival. it was sooo good. and the movie is much better than this trailer, i must say. :) you did a very very good job.
